RainDeflect Door Protector

RainDeflect is an Australian-made external door protection system designed to deflect rainwater away from external-facing fire, exit and egress doors.

Installed above the door, RainDeflect helps reduce water ingress and weather exposure, minimising the risk of swelling, delamination, paint degradation, door jamming and premature damage. It provides an engineered, standardised alternative to improvised weather protection and can help reduce ongoing maintenance, repair and replacement costs.

  • Sizes: 1000mm & 2250mm
  • Clearance: Minimum 20mm door swing clearance
  • Fixing: Screw or masonry anchor fix, subject to wall composition
  • Fixing Hole: 7mm diameter, suitable for 12-gauge screws
  • Masonry Anchor Hole: 11mm diameter, suitable for anchors up to 10mm diameter
  • Sealant: Waterproof adhesive sealant applied in two continuous beads, above and below fixing holes
  • Installation: Wall-mounted above the external door
  • Installation Requirement: Must be installed by a suitably qualified and licensed tradesperson in accordance with applicable Australian Standards, building codes and local regulations.

What are the delivery times for door hardware orders?

Title

Deliveries into the Sydney Metro, Central Coast and Newcastle areas will generally be recieved within 48 hours. Deliveries to other Metro areas (Melbourne, Brisbane, Canberra, Adelaide, Hobart) will take between 3-5 days via courier delivery. Deliveries to Perth will be 5-7 days via courier.

Do you offer a 'Click & Collect' option for my door hardware order?

Yes. Select the 'Pick up' option when placing your order. All collection orders can be picked up from our factory  located at 4 Ainslie Close, Somersby, 2260. Our business hours are 7am - 3pm, Monday to Friday. You will receive a notification email when your order is ready for collection, usually within 24 hours.
