At Doorpac, we're a proudly Australian-owned family business, dedicated to supporting the construction and fire protection industries. With over 40 years of combined experience, we’re all about top-notch customer service and expert technical support. We know how fast-paced things can be on-site, so we work hard to meet your deadlines.

 

We specialize in manufacturing custom fire doors, solid core doors, and other specialist doors. Plus, we stock a wide range of door hardware and fire and smoke seals to keep the fire industry covered, with delivery available across Australia.

 

Our state-of-the-art manufacturing facility is based in Somersby on the Central Coast of NSW. We deliver to Greater Sydney daily, with service to Newcastle, the Hunter Region, and across NSW as needed. We also regularly ship to the ACT and beyond. Wherever you are, we’re here to help!

Adam Szabo

Marketing Manager

Adam spearheads all of Doorpac marketing activities, working closely with the management team to identify ways in which Doorpac can take advantage of industry trends, market movements and customer needs. Recent marking initiatives include the launch of the new Doorpac website, increased customer communications, strengthened supplier relationships and an increased online presence.

DELIVERY FACILITATOR

Many of our existing customers will recognise Adam. Our hard-working and efficient delivery driver sets out everyday to provide fast and efficient delivery of your doors across Sydney, Newcastle and Canberra. Always smiling and happy to help you unload, Adam takes great pride in being the 'face' of Doorpac for many.

Allister Trimmer

SENIOR SALES CONSULTANT

Allister helps Doorpac grow by identifying new opportunities, building relationships, and increasing revenue by identifying potential clients, pitching products/services, and closing deals to expand our customer base. Establishing and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, suppliers, and business partners is a key area of attention for Allister in the business development role.

Brand Awareness & Networking by representing Doorpac at events. 

Carl Trimmer

OPERATIONS MANAGER

Carl is responsible for overseeing and optimizing the company's production and operational processes. Carl's primary roles include: Production Oversight, Team Leadership, Inventory and Supply Chain, Management Quality Assurance, Process Improvement, Health and Safety Compliance. Carl plays plays a pivotal role in ensuring that the manufacturing processes run smoothly, efficiently, and safely, contributing to the overall success and profitability of Doorpac.

Dirnalyn (Lyn) Antig

JUNIOR SALES ESTIMATOR

Lyn supports the sales team by preparing cost estimates, analysing project requirements, and assisting in customer inquiries. Her key responsibilities include: Estimating Costs, Sales Support, Customer Communication, Data Entry & Documentation, Market & Supplier Research Collaboration. Lyn is detail-oriented with strong analytical and communication skills.

Dan Cilia

PRODUCTION SUPERVISOR

Dan's role as Production Supervisor is essential for ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety. This includes Managing Production Workflow, 
Supervising Staff, Monitor Quality Control, Maintain Production Equipment, Ensure Health & Safety Compliance, Monitor Inventory and aim to continually improve production processes. Dan's role is crucial in maintaining smooth operations, meeting production targets, and ensuring high-quality doors are delivered to customers.

Karla Scarborough

CUSTOMER ACCOUNT MANAGER

Karla supports and optimizes the sales process by managing and coordinating with sales team, and ensuring efficient order processing. You'll hear Karla on the other end of the line as she handles your inquiries, processes orders and invoices, and assists in customer management. With strong organizational and communication skills, Karla helps drive sales efficiency and support strategic business goals.

ACCOUNTS

Kate is our accounts & logistics wiz! From looking after accounts payable & receivable to organising the daily delivery runs, you’ll be bound to here from her as Doorpac supports your needs. Kate helps ensure the smooth day-to-day operations while providing insights for business growth.

Mark Lydorf

STOREMAN

Mark is responsible for coordinating the packing, loading, and shipping of doors and door hardware to ensure timely and accurate delivery to our customers. Primary elements of Mark’s role include: Serving of customers at our trade counter, preparing and packing orders for dispatch, loading and unloading of delivery vehicles, and receipt of goods Inwards. Mark works to maintain smooth distribution operations, minimise delays, and ensure customer satisfaction.

Matt Trimmer

SENIOR SALES CONSULTANT

Matt is focused on driving sales, building strong client relationships, and providing expert advice to customers. A typical day for Matt involves Client Engagement, Sales Strategy, maintaining product knowledge, customer negotiations,
Market & Competitor Analysis, Mentoring Doorpac's Junior Sales Estimator. Matt works closely with everyone in the business and shares his insights to assist Doorpac's growth.

Tim Trimmer

DIRECTOR

Tim started Doorpac Australia back in 2007, after working for many years in the fire safety industry. Originally a plumber, working on the Central Coast, Tim and Matt bought a fire safety business (Gosford Fire Service) and so began their journey into the fire industry. After purchasing a fire door business Tim set about transforming the business into one of NSW's most successful fire door manufacturers. Working with quality core suppliers and door hardware specialists, Doorpac continues b to be an industry leader in fire safety.
